Endless Edits

Even with the pandemic preventing us from going out and filming, we still retained a good toolkit with which to produce content. There is always the option to repurpose existing content which we did for this piece. Additionally, there is also no limit to the assets that can be created with animation, motion graphics, and vfx.

However different (or similar) the final cut may seem from the rough cut, there almost certainly are a multitude of iterations of a single video. That's the fun and danger of editing. You can endlessly tweak cuts, scenes, music and when you are creating assets like graphics from scratch your only constraint is your imagination... that and a hard deadline. But you can certainly explore, experiment, and edit to your heart's content until then. Which I suppose brings to mind one other constraint which is budget. So other than time, money, and the limits of one's imagination there's nothing standing in the way of achieving your vision! And because sometimes that vision isn’t so clear at the outset, having the ability to tweak and tweak allows you to develop your vision and bring it into clearer focus.

Here’s a look at the final cut of this video for XTECH.
